10. International Orders

International shipments are governed by the separate International Shipping & Export Policy.

04. Returns, Exchange & Defect Resolution Policy

Effective Date:  |  Last Updated:

1. Policy Overview

KansyaVastu specialises in Brass, Bronze and Copper products, including handcrafted, traditionally manufactured and customised metalware. Due to the nature, durability and material characteristics of these products, KansyaVastu does not offer general product returns or change-of-mind returns.

2. No General Product Returns

Products purchased from KansyaVastu are not eligible for return merely because the customer has changed their mind, does not require the product, ordered the wrong size/variant or no longer wishes to keep the product. Customers should carefully review the product description, dimensions, material, finish, photographs, quantity, variant and product code before ordering.

3. Genuine Damage or Defect

In rare circumstances, a product may arrive with transit damage, leakage, manufacturing defect, structural defect, significant breakage, an incorrect product or another material defect affecting intended use. Customers may request an exchange or appropriate resolution, subject to verification.

4. Email Request is Mandatory

Claims must be submitted to info@kansyavastu.com and include order/invoice number, customer name, product name and code, date of delivery, a brief description of the issue, clear photographs of the affected product and close-up photographs showing the damaged, defective or leakage area. Where relevant, include photographs of outer packaging and shipping labels.

5. Photographic Evidence

Clear photographs are essential for initial assessment. Where possible, provide full-product photographs, close-ups, multiple angles, leakage/crack/dent/breakage photographs, packaging photographs and shipping label photographs. KansyaVastu may request additional photographs or videos.

6. Verification

Each claim is reviewed individually. KansyaVastu may assess the nature and severity of the defect, whether the issue existed at delivery, manufacturing characteristics, packaging condition, shipping-related damage, handling, evidence, product specifications and dispatch records. Submission of a claim does not automatically guarantee exchange, replacement, refund or compensation.

7. Exchange or Other Resolution

Where KansyaVastu determines that an eligible product has genuine manufacturing defect, significant transit damage, leakage or an incorrect product has been supplied, we may, subject to availability and circumstances, exchange, replace, repair or provide another appropriate resolution.

8. Refunds

Because general returns are not accepted, refunds will not normally be provided for change-of-mind or ordinary return requests. Where a refund is legally required or specifically approved following verification of an eligible issue, it will be processed through the applicable payment method or another appropriate method.

9. Bulk, Wholesale and Export Orders

Returns of bulk, wholesale, export or commercial orders will generally not be accepted, particularly for products manufactured against a purchase order, produced in bulk, customised, engraved, made to customer specifications, private-labelled or OEM manufactured.

10. Bulk Defect Report

If a buyer identifies a genuine defect or quality issue in a bulk shipment, the buyer must notify KansyaVastu in writing and provide an actual defect report including, where applicable, PO/invoice number, product code, description, quantity received, quantity affected, nature of defect, batch/lot information, photographs/videos, inspection report, packing condition, shipping information and supporting evidence.

11. Bulk Claim Verification

KansyaVastu may request additional photographs, videos, third-party inspection, independent quality inspection, sample inspection, quantity verification, shipping documentation or packing information before determining a resolution.

12. Commercial Compensation for Bulk Orders

After reviewing and validating the actual defect report, KansyaVastu may consider an appropriate commercial resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement of genuinely defective quantities in a future shipment, replacement of affected items where commercially feasible, credit adjustment, commercial credit note, partial compensation, price adjustment on a subsequent order, repair/rework or another mutually agreed settlement.

13. Basis for Bulk Compensation

The nature and value of compensation will depend on confirmed affected quantity, defect severity, product/order value, cause, supporting evidence, contractual terms, applicable Incoterm, inspection findings and other relevant commercial circumstances. Compensation is not automatically calculated solely from the customer's initial claim.

14. Transit Damage in Bulk Shipments

Where damage is believed to have occurred during transportation, the buyer should preserve original packaging, shipping labels, container/seal information where applicable, photographs, delivery records, damage reports and other shipping documents. The parties may coordinate with the relevant logistics provider, carrier, insurer or other responsible party where appropriate.

15. OEM and Customised Products

OEM, private-label, customised, engraved and made-to-order products are generally non-returnable once production has commenced. Genuine manufacturing defects against approved specifications or approved samples will be assessed for an appropriate commercial resolution.

16. Natural Metal Characteristics

Brass, Bronze and Copper products may naturally vary in colour, tone, patina, texture, surface finish, minor dimensions, weight and handcrafted appearance. Such natural or manufacturing variations do not automatically constitute defects.

17. Misuse and Handling

Claims may not be accepted where damage results from mishandling, accidental damage after delivery, improper use, improper cleaning, abrasive chemicals, corrosive substances, unauthorised modification, improper storage, normal wear and tear or failure to follow care instructions.

18. Claim Timing

Customers should report damage, leakage, incorrect products or visible defects as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. Commercial claim periods may be governed by the applicable purchase order, quotation, sales agreement or agreed Incoterm.

19. Contact and Email Subject

Retail claims: Subject 'Product Damage/Defect Claim – Order #[ORDER NUMBER]'.
Bulk/export claims: Subject 'Bulk Order Defect Report – PO #[PO NUMBER]'.
Email: info@kansyavastu.com.

05. Cancellation Policy

Effective Date:

1. Retail Orders

Customers may request cancellation before an order enters processing, production or dispatch. Cancellation is not guaranteed after processing or dispatch has commenced.

2. Customised Orders

Orders involving engraving, personalisation, custom design, custom dimensions, made-to-order production, OEM or private label may not be cancelled after production or procurement has commenced.

3. Cancellation Request

Cancellation requests should be sent to info@kansyavastu.com with the order number and registered customer details.

4. Refund Following Approved Cancellation

Where cancellation is approved, any eligible refund may be subject to applicable law and reasonable deduction of non-recoverable costs, where legally permissible, including payment-processing, production, customisation, packaging, procurement and shipping costs.

5. Cancellation by KansyaVastu

KansyaVastu may cancel an order where product availability cannot be confirmed, a material pricing error occurs, payment cannot be verified, fraud is suspected, delivery is not reasonably possible or legal/regulatory restrictions apply. Where applicable, an eligible refund will be provided.

07. Warranty & Product Quality Policy

Effective Date:

1. Quality Commitment

KansyaVastu aims to supply products that conform to the applicable product description and agreed specifications.

2. Handcrafted Characteristics

Brass, Bronze and Copper products may naturally vary in colour, texture, patina, surface appearance, finish, weight, dimensions and shape. These variations may result from natural material properties and manufacturing processes.

3. Manufacturing Defects

Where a genuine manufacturing defect is identified within an applicable warranty period, KansyaVastu will assess the product and determine an appropriate remedy.

4. Warranty Period

Where a warranty applies, the applicable period will be stated on the product page, invoice, order confirmation, quotation or sales agreement. If no specific warranty period is stated, applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

5. Exclusions

  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Negligence
  • Incorrect cleaning
  • Abrasive chemicals
  • Corrosive substances
  • Improper storage
  • Unauthorised modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failure to follow care instructions.

6. Warranty Claim

Customers should provide order/invoice details, product code, description of issue and photographs/videos where appropriate. Claims should be submitted to info@kansyavastu.com.

08. International Shipping & Export Policy

Effective Date:

1. International Supply

KansyaVastu supplies products to selected international destinations subject to product availability, carrier availability, destination-country requirements and applicable laws.

2. International Purchasing

International orders may be placed through website checkout, export enquiries, wholesale enquiries, quotations, purchase orders or direct business communication.

3. Shipping Charges

International shipping charges depend on destination, product, quantity, gross/net weight, package dimensions, shipping method, freight rates, packaging and Incoterm.

4. Customs and Import Charges

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the buyer/importer is responsible for applicable destination-country import duties, customs charges, VAT/GST, local taxes, brokerage, clearance, port/terminal and other government or carrier charges.

5. Import Compliance

The buyer/importer is responsible for ensuring that products can legally be imported into the destination country. Requirements may vary according to product type, material, intended use, food-contact status, labelling, packaging, product standards, customs classification and permits.

6. Export Documentation

Depending on the transaction, documentation may include Commercial Invoice, Packing List, shipping documentation, Certificate of Origin where applicable and other documents required by the transaction or applicable law.

7. Incoterms

For international B2B transactions, the applicable Incoterm will be stated in the quotation or sales contract. Possible terms may include EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP.

8. Delivery Time

International delivery estimates are indicative. Customs clearance, inspection, port congestion and local delivery may affect delivery time.

9. Restricted Destinations

KansyaVastu may decline shipments where carrier service is unavailable, import or legal restrictions apply, or customs clearance is not reasonably possible.

10. Risk and Insurance

Risk, insurance responsibility and transportation obligations depend on the applicable Incoterm and written transaction terms.

11. International Returns

International returns require prior written approval. Freight, customs, duties and other charges will be allocated according to the reason for return, agreed transaction terms and applicable law. Bulk/export orders are generally non-returnable and defect claims are handled under the Returns, Exchange & Defect Resolution Policy and applicable commercial agreement.
